Welcome Summer Readers! The Flat Rock Public Library is so excited that Summer Reading is here!
The 2021 Summer Reading program, Tails & Tales, will be offered from June 14 thru August 14. Teens, from 6th Grade thru the 12th Grade (grade going into this fall) are invited to participate. Teens can register for the Teen program and log the minutes they read over the summer. There are paper logs available also, if that is what you prefer.
What counts towards your reading minutes? Reading to your brother or sister, another person or animal, reading a magazine, book, or eBook, and listening to an audio book all count toward your minutes.
There are challenges online, also, throughout the summer that you may conquer. And book reviews.

Enter your amount of minutes that you read throughout the summer. For every 8 hours/480 minutes that you read you will earn a Grand Prize Raffle Ticket. You may put your raffle ticket in any one of the three Grand Prize Drawings.

The Grand Prize Drawings will be held on Saturday, August 21st and announced at the End of the Summer Reading Party.
You may also write book reviews. If you click on the thumb up icon in the upper right-hand corner when you are logged into your account, you are able to see all the book reviews that have been posted.
